With us, the world is our guest and the Appenzellerland is at home. In 1597, Appenzellerland split into the two half-cantons of Outer Rhodes and Inner Rhodes. In the Koller guest house, however, the two parts have long since been reunited: the hostess Karin grew up in Urnäsch, outside of Rhodes. Her husband Stefan is a proud Innerrhoder. She is reformed. He Catholic. She only knows the Landsgemeinde from hearsay. Even as a young drummer, he was at the forefront with the Musikgesellschaft Appenzell every year on the last Sunday in April. Karin, on the other hand, has far more experience with the Öberefahre and Chlause as Buuremeedl. Both of them love to sing. she taunted. He ruggused. And both fall into the category of natural yodelling. The four children are also strong in voice and equipped with a lot of Appenzell mischievousness.
